Wyndham Council has contributed $4.3 million toward the project, with the State Government providing $1.1 million. Facilities at the learning centre will include a 950 square metre library, community rooms, occasional care facilities, a toy library, community kitchen, two kindergarten rooms and two maternal and child health consulting rooms. The centre, at the corner of Main and Middle streets in the new Point Cook town centre, is due for completion by mid-2009.
